The Experience at 4Rail Studio
We are 4Rail studio, an innovative and state-of-the-art Class A recording facility custom built at the foot of the Saguaro National forest in Tucson, Arizona. 4Rail Studio is an 1,800-square-foot destination facility conceived by lifelong musicians with the Artist in mind. Our studio was constructed from the ground up in 2015 with the goal of bringing a commitment to the best musical recording experience for artists in the Southwestern United States.
Here, the focus is on establishing the nexus among the best musical product and the authentic Artist experience.
An Interior That has to be Heard to be Believed.
The live room at 4Rail Studio was designed so that every inch of the venue maximizes the ingenuity of the Artist. The room was built on a floating wooden floor that distributes live room signal seamlessly and discreetly. A 12-foot-6-inch wooden ceiling provides perfect signal decay, and the room utilizes mathematically-designed scalloped walls that experience no signal slapback and can be tuned for the optimal natural reverb. Additionally, with signal i/o distribution panels strategically located throughout the live room, our space allows for the placement of 80 microphones for a truly customizable recording experience.

Capturing your sound is our priority at 4Rail Studios, and flexibility to bring out the best of the Artist is fundamental to our approach. We support live tracking for even the largest bands – whether you require individual tracking or to share the room with a combination of players, our studio was built to provide the most comfortable and creative environment to unlock your best work.
Vocal room
While the live room was designed for perfect signal decay and natural reverb, the 13x20 isolation room was constructed specifically to isolate and capture unenhanced (“deadened”) signal. Whether you are recording vocals, drums, guitars, keys, horns, or any other instrument, the results from our isolation room are a pure reflection of the performing artist.
